what do

[Oh, seems like Gold is okay. That's good, but what's he doing up here? Well, it's not like Red owns the mountain so if Gold's allowed here then so be it. Red shrugs to himself as Pikachu hops onto his shoulder.]

Not much. Long time no see.

( Wow and just like that he suddenly remembers something embarrassing and his cheeks flush up pink, turning his head away from Red slightly. ) Uh ... yeah. Long time no see.

[Huh, how strange, there's that blushing again. Part of Red can't help but think it's cute, almost like a Pikachu. Luckily the snow had stopped leaving a smooth white layer of snow on the peak. Red took a deep breath then spread his sleeping bag on top. As he lay down to sunbathe (Pikachu found a comfy spot as well), he looked at Gold.]

You came at a good time. Weather's great right now.

( Blinks and then glances down at Red. What the hell was this guy thinking? Staying on this mountain for so long? His previous thoughts vanished suddenly and he sat on the ground in front of where the other lay. ) Great, huh ... you know it's a lot warmer down the mountain. I still think it's pretty cold.

[Red makes a sad face thinking of several reasons of not wanting to leave Mt Silver yet. Maybe someday he'll tell Gold, but for now, looks like the boy hasn't adjusted to the climate. He sits up and pulls a blanket from his backpack.]

O-Oh, sure. ( a blanket from the legendary Red! This seemed so awesome somehow. Allow him to shuffle under, then. ) Thanks, Red.

[It isn't until Gold's body up against Red that he realizes he hasn't felt this warm in a long time. His Pokémon had provided body heat before when the temperature plummeted around here, but it wasn't the same. He feels a blush creep along his own face as well as his heartbeat quicken. He tries to say something to distract himself from the odd urge to wrap an arm around Gold's shoulders.]

Uh... Sure. What brought you up here?

Aah! Damn, you're freezing! ( The cold contact from the other trainer's body made him squirm slightly but urged him to shift closer. Without an ounce of shame he took Red's hand into his own, rubbing his palms against it. LET ME WARM YOU. ) ... Just felt like a change of scenery would be good, y'know? Especially where training is concerned.

[Red's breath hitched for a moment when Gold's hands took his. With anyone else, he would have said that was too forward for him and tried to create some space, but... Gold was different. He put his heart forth to care for people and Pokémon alike... much like Red tried to when he first started. The similarity made Red smile softly.]

That makes sense. Uh... you don't have to keep doing that. You'll get tired. We just can hold hands...

Sure thing! I mean, I'm pretty sure you need it. ( Soft laugh. He does exactly what Red suggests and takes his stone cold hands in his much warmer ones, the cosy heat making him smile in delight. )

[Oh whoa, this was more intimate than Red expected. So much for keeping his blush away, now it was fully taking over his face. They were practically snuggling now that they held hands as Red suggested. Truth be told, this was far more comfortable than Red imagined. Gold's cute smile wasn't helping him feel less embarrassed though.]

I guess so... yeah. I'll have to get some better gloves later. I can't make you do this every time you come by.

( Holy ... crap. That thing you got going on with your face right there. That's cute. Give him a moment, and excuse him, for he didn't hear a word you said there Red. ) ... Huh? Did you say something?

[Red wasn't sure if he was relieved or annoyed that Gold missed his honest sentiment. Then he wasn't sure why he was thinking about so much. His eyes went back to being bland instead while he tried to make sense of his current reactions. What could have distracted Gold so much? The other trainer was usually pretty alert. Oh well, it'll make sense later, Red supposed. Let's try another subject.]
