what do
2. Taggers! Hit the RANDOM ICON next to your icon selection. KEEP IT RANDOM! It's called "Random Icon Meme" for a reason! This icon will dictate what the character's response will be.
3. Look to see which icon was chosen and make a tag based off it. It can be serious, crack, and even completely derail from the previous tag. Be creative and try to make it work! But have fun—this is supposed to be crack. Bonus points if the thread somehow ends up IC anyway.
4. Rinse and repeat.
5. SPAM FOREVER
.../hits random icon for this entry. heh.
SOB we've gone over 5k so reCaptcha has kicked in. But all these threads are beautiful. Beautiful. LET'S KEEP IT UP GUYS /will be over here crying tears at the hilarity

[ Her expression says she does not believe that for a moment, but the gun finally lowers. ]

They're a bit more interested in that piece you've got there... [He pauses for a moment-] Flintlock?
no subject
Correct.

I prefer a larger gun myself - a steady musket over my shoulder is all I need to feel at home. Your pistol gets the job done and it does it quick but the raw power behind a rifle, it's something any gunman should experience just once.

[ Her expression has faded back to seriousness, though that might just be her normal state. ]
These beauties are just easier to carry on a stroll.
no subject
Who said I was worrying?
no subject
[ Even though she is, herself. Her glance, however, is calm; there is no real annoyance in it. ]
You do not find all that many gunners around here. What brings you this way?
no subject
[He can't help but glance at her pistols again.]
You wouldn't happen to know anything about this guy, would you?
no subject
No guy here like that, as far as I know.
no subject
That's a real shame there... I would've liked to see if their skill matched my own...
no subject
Someone to actually test her skills against.
It had been a good while since she had gotten the pleasure. No one nearby would shoot against her now; it was too much of a blow to their pride.
Maybe she would be lucky, and this man would be a challenge. ]
There are a few boys with half-decent aim and a couple rilfes a little ways out of town.
[ She reaches up to tuck a lock of hair behind her ear. ]
Or you could shoot against me.

I can't say I've got my gun on me but if you want to loan me one of those ladies [He gestures with his head a bit towards her guns] I'd be willing to take a look at what you can do.
no subject
[ Normally Sayaka does not let anyone touch her guns, but the idea of competition is too good to pass up. ]
We can head out west a little ways. There's a good slope there to shoot against.
no subject
Lead the way, beautiful.
no subject
It is not too far.
[ Oh, though she supposes she does not know one important thing. ]
What was your name, in any case?
no subject
Is that the cliff?
no subject
[ She repeated the name to memorize it. ]
That's right. Just mind the livestock, if they come nosing this way.
[ While at first the noise of gunfire had caused them to stampede in panic, they had gotten too used to the sound over the years of having an excitable young girl practice to be particularly bothered by it now.
The field gives them a nice long shot, clear from any debris, and the rock face could obviously keep their bullets from wandering astray. Sayaka went to the cliff's bottom first, where in a semi-neat pile there were many a thing that had apparently been used for target practice. She picked out a few gourds that were in fairly good shape and unwound a ball of string to start hanging them up. ]
no subject
And your name?
no subject
Sayaka.
[ She finishes and then turns, giving him one more glance over before drawing one of her pistols and offering him the hilt. ]
I trust you'll play nice with it.
[ The pair she has is not the kind of quality the Saika do, certainly, but they are nicer than a woman in the middle of nowhere should rightfully own. It is obvious they are well loved; their flaws are balanced with immaculate care.
Sayaka worked hard for those guns, and she treated them accordingly. ]
no subject
Treating a gun like this with anything but respect? That's pretty much the ultimate sin right there. She's quite a beauty- [He eyes the woman, unable to mask the coy smirk] Just like her handler.
no subject
She turns a little too quickly to mask whatever her real reaction was to that, choosing to only glance over her shoulder at him instead of face him directly. ]
Let's get started. You can choose the range.
no subject
He swallows, nodding before looking down at the gun in hand.]
We'll start off with something basic... sixty paces.
no subject
When she turns, she first glances at Shigehide, then at the targets, her mind already working out the best series of shots to knock them all down. ]
Shoot a few to warm up, if you like.
[ Sayaka did recognize that she was on her territory, in this match: her guns, her practice space. She even knew what patterns the wind tended to blow in this area, having lived here all her life. He was at a disadvantage, however good he was; yet seeing how he would adjust was part of what made this interesting. ]
...This thread needs to stop giving me appropriate icons. I need to make more crack ones I guess!
The bullet sails straight ahead, crashing through the very center of one of those hanging gourds. A wisp of smoke billows out of the barrel before he turns his sights back on Sayaka.]
Looks like Lady Luck has a thing for me too.
You do! The world needs more crack.
[ Sayaka looks at the gourd, admittedly impressed. Suddenly she is a little nervous.
He is good, whatever he may say about Lady Luck. She can tell by the easy way he had handled an unfamiliar gun and the sharpness of his aim.
She reaches up with both hands to brush her hair from where it had fallen into her face, not realizing it causes her kimono's front to shift further open. ]

[1/2, because why not?]
[2/2]
I was waiting for when the inappropriate icons would kick in.
